Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club events and activities for December 2019

Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

We have the following events for December,

Saturday, December 7, 2019 Arlington is having a steel plate rifle shoot on the 200-yard range from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. This is a very popular shoot. No green tip, black tip or armor piercing ammunition is allowed. We will be meeting at 8:15 a.m. at the club shed to start loading targets. Please come out and give us a hand.

Wednesday, December 11, 2019, we are having our monthly club meeting. We will have for annual club election for board members. You are welcome to run for any position on the board. This year, we have event director positions for Rifle, Pistol and Bust Fest club shoots. Arlington has so many events, that we need additional volunteers to help run our club events. We will be discussing news at the AGC and our club. There will be a show and tell, so please bring any item of interest that you would like to share with the club. A swap meet will be at the back of the room for anyone who wishes to sell, trade or give away an item. You can also renew your Arlington club membership at the meeting if you haven’t already done so.

Wednesday, December 18, Arlington will be having a Silent Night Shoot from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on the Barnes Multi-purpose Range, near our club shed. Suppressed firearms only. If you don’t have silencer, bring some ammo so you can take part.

Saturday, December 28th, Arlington will be having two events: a 100-yard Steel Plate Rifle shoot on the Barnes Range and a 3-Gun Shoot on the Action Shooting Range.

***Please help our club members! If you have volunteered at the AGC and earned range badge credit this year and don’t intend to use your range badge credit hours, please donate them to the club so we can help club members who are in need of assistance. Please let me know if you can help.

Thank you for all the support and friendship you have given to the club this year.

God Bless you and your family,

Rob Cowan

President, Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club
