(An AGC range walk-through is required before any member can purchase a new AGC range badge, it will take approximately 1hr. Please dress accordingly for the weather, boots are highly encouraged as the ranges can be muddy. Eye and ear protection are required if you do not have any please let me know and I will have some available.)

Low Light Shoot Cancelled

Due to the wet conditions on the bays and the MDTCA club holding a shoot on the 100y range we have cancelled ARPC’s low light shoot . If you have NVG or thermal the Thompson club may still be holding their shoot on the 100y range. Our next scheduled night shoot is 11/26/2019.

Don’t forget we have our club meeting Wednesday night at 7PM and the AGC will be there to process range badge renewals. Thank you and hope you have a great day.

ARPC November Update

Good evening Arlington members. This month we would like to thank our veterans for their service and dedication to country. Thank you all for your service, and we are honored to have you as club members.

Range badge renewals will be available at our November club meeting (The AGC will be replacing badges with noncompliant barcodes for scanning in guests), along with several important discussion topics.

Here’s a rundown of this months upcoming events:

Saturday November 9th – 200y steel shoot – 9:00AM-3:00PM
Tuesday November 12th – Night Shoot – 100y range – 7:00PM-9:00PM Wednesday November 13th – Club Meeting -Memorial Hall – 7:00PM
Saturday November 16th – Steel Plate Pistol Shoot – 50y pistol range – 9:00AM-3:00PM Saturday November 23rd – 3 Gun – Action Shooting Bays – 9:00AM-2:00PM Tuesday November 26th – Night Shoot Bay 6 – 7:00PM-9:00PM

For those of you who are not familiar we have added a Night Shoot/Lowlight shoot. Our low light shoots are open to badged AGC members only, and will allow our shooters to test out their lights/lasers/and NVG’s if you have them. This event is pistols only.

All pistols must be equipped with adequate sights for night fire. Light discipline is highly encouraged and red lights should be used for manipulations behind the firing line. AGC caliber restrictions apply for steel shoots. If you have any questions please contact:

Thanks and we look forward to seeing you at our next event!

The AGC will be selling Range Badge Renewals and New Range Badges at our November 13 Club Meeting

To Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

Tia will be at our meeting to sell AGC range badges; renewals and new range badges for the 2020 year. Tia asked that in case there is a WIFI problem, our members who wish to pay via credit card, pay online through the AGC website ahead of time. Make sure you bring the printed online confirmation or be able to show the confirmation on their phone. On site credit card processing is not guaranteed due to the not uncommon WIFI issues. If members have range badge credits, they should not pay online.

If you have earned range badge credits and don’t intend to use them, please ask to donate them to our club. Arlington has been able to help several members over the last few years, because of the generous range badge credit donations that our members have made to the club.

2020 Prices:

Individual: $200.00
Family: $67.00
Junior: $100.00

*** Since our Arlington Juniors parents are AGC badge holding members, if any Junior wishes to also have an AGC range badge they should buy the family member, not the Junior badge. At this time, it is not necessary for a Junior to have a range badge, because their coaches are with them at practice and their badge holding parents are with them when they come to the range for additional practice.

Please be sure to thank Tia for coming out to our club meeting.

Thank you!

Reminder for this weekend

To Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

Reminder, our Fundraiser Frame Build is tomorrow, Saturday, November 2, at 9:00 a.m. – 11"45 a.m. No tools or experience is required, we build our frames on assembly line basis, where each person performs one or two simple tasks. It is a lot of fun and you leave with a good feeling for having helped our Juniors. A big thanks to Elliott and James for coming out to help cut wood for tomorrows frame build.

Sunday, November 3, 2019 – Bust Fest!, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. *** Don’t forget to turn your clocks back an hour. This is a lot of fun, bring a box of clays or pay $15 towards a box of clays from the AGC and shoot all day. Target loads only with 1200 Feet Per Second (FPS) and #7.5, #8 or #9 shot. This is a very popular shoot and a terrific opportunity to learn how to shoot trap. If you don’t have a shotgun, come out anyway. We will loan you one.

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Thank you,
