We need Arlington club members help this Saturday

To Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

We need your help with two activities this coming Saturday:

1. 200 yard range – The wooden wall supporting the berm in front of the pits at the 200 – yard range is too short. This weekend, we will be adding a row of railroad ties on top of the existing wall to protect the carriages in the pits from damage. We use this range a lot for our 3-gun shoots and our Tuesday Night Steel. The project kicks off at 7:30 a.m.

2. The Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association (MSRPA) Small Bore Tournament – Arlington is a member of the MSRPA. We are supporting the first annual MSRPA small bore shoot State Championship at the AGC. I will need help setting up targets for the tournament. We will meet at our Juniors shed at 8:00 a.m. to load the targets into my truck and set them up at 50 yards. We will be placing approximately 40 targets on the Barnes 100 yard Range. We are also helping to set up the food tents, watching the line, etc. After the match, we will be rounding up the target frames and storing them in our shed.

Please come out and support our club.

Thank you,

Rob Cowan
President, Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club
