Upcoming events for Arlington

To Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

Here are our upcoming events for September:

Wednesday, September 13, club meeting from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. in Memorial Hall. We will be discussing current news at the AGC and upcoming club events. There will be a show and tell, so bring in any interesting items to share with the club. We will also have a swap meet at the back of the room for anything you want to sell, trade or give away.

Saturday, September 16th, we will be having a 3-Gun Shoot on the 200 yard line from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. We need volunteers to help with the set up, so please come out at 8:15 a.m..

Sunday, September 17th, we will be having a Fundraiser Frame build from 9:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. in the Maintenance Building next to Memorial Hall. This event helps us support our Juniors team. No tools or special skills are required. We build the frames on an assembly line, where each person performs one or two simple tasks. It is a lot of fun and everyone leaves with a good feeling knowing that they supported our Juniors team.

Saturday, September 23rd: Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club is a member of the Maryland State Rifle and Pistol Association (MSRPA). The MSRPA will be having a small bore tournament on September 23rd. This will be a prone and 3 position tournament that is open to Juniors and Adults. Arlington will be supporting this tournament. We need Arlington members to help set up targets and supervise the line.

Saturday, September 30th: Arlington will be having a Memorial Service for Dave Boone, our former club president in Memorial Hall. It will be held in the morning, but the exact time is TBD based on when his family is available. We need volunteers to help with this event. The final details will be posted.

Sunday, October 8th – Steel Plate Pistol Shoot from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Thank you for all of the support you have been giving to our club. We are able to have so many events because of your help.

Have a great September,
