Tuesday Night Steel Cancelled 28 June 2016

Tuesday Night Steel Cancelled 28 June 2016

Due to impending thunderstorm activity from 5PM to 10PM, Tuesday Night Steel for 28 June 2016 is cancelled. I’m pretty sure our cancellations are some form of liberal conspiracy to control the weather keeping our club from training for the zombie apocalypse. So hang in there, it can’t storm every Tuesday or can it?

Frame Build This Saturday!

The AGC is down to six target frames.  We need to have a fundraiser frame build to support our Juniors Program this Saturday, June 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. near our club shed on the Barnes Range.   No tools or special skills are required.  We work on an assembly line basis, where each person performs one or two simple tasks.   It is a lot of fun and everyone leaves with a good feeling, because you helped to support our Juniors Program.
Since we are having a frame build a week early, we will be canceling the scheduled frame build on the 18th.
Don’t forget the pistol Shoot on Sunday!

Tonight’s Steel Shoot Cancelled Due to Rain

Per Paul Casale:
“I’m not a weatherman but I drove through two major storms on my way home this afternoon. The clouds look crazy. The Doppler looks iffy. So as a result, we are cancelling tonight’s steel event.”

Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club Member Passes Away

An Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club member: Bruce Harris, was laid to rest with full military honors on June 2, 2016, at the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Bruce was an avid shooter and father of six; three of his children are 15 year old triplet sons. Two of his sons shot with our Juniors team. Bruce retired as a Master Sargent from the Air Force after 22 years of service. Bruce was a good friend and a wonderful father. We are grateful for his honorable service to our country. Bruce will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Please remember Bruce and his family in your prayers.

Thank you,

We have a lot of events in June:

We can’t do these without your help.

Saturday, June 18th Fundraiser Frame Build supporting our Juniors program. No tools or special skills are required. We work on an assembly line basis, where each person performs one or two simple tasks. It is a lot of fun and everyone leaves with a good feeling, because you supported our Juniors program.

Saturday, June 25th – Bust Fest – This is one of our most popular events. Each shooter shoots one to two birds at a time. Ammunition requirements: Target loads of #7.5, #8 or #9 shot with no greater than 1200 Feet Per Second (FPS). The cost is $15.00 for all the birds you want to break.
