Arlington RPC Juniors to Compete at Olympic Training Center

Winter Airgun

Maryland high school students and Arlington RPC’s junior members Sarah Hickey of Northwood HS, Torrance Kang of Howard HS, Wynn Lekhavanija of Centennial HS and Claire O’Neel of Oakdale HS will be competing in Winter Airgun Championships at the US Olympic Training Center, in Colorado Springs Colorado, on December 4th to 6th. They will compete shoulder to shoulder against the best shooters in the nation.

To compete is quite an honor for them, as only the finest athletes in the nation attend. Not only does this competition provide athletes an opportunity to compete against the best in the nation, it also provides the opportunity to gain spots to compete at international level events.

This event will also serve to begin to select and appoint athletes to the 2016 USA Shooting Olympic Team for the games next summer in Rio.
