No Frame Build – Wobble Instead

Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

At our last club meeting, we found out that the AGC was falling short on their target frame inventory. We had an impromptu frame build last Saturday and built 51 frames. We won’t need to have a frame build this coming Saturday. Instead, we will be having fun. Come on out to the Wobble trap and bust some clays with us this Saturday from 9:00 – 12:00.

Come out and have some fun!

Frame Build This Saturday, June 15th – We Need You!

To Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club,

To meet the demands for our target frames, we will be having an impromptu frame build from 9:00 – 12:00 this coming Saturday at the Juniors Shed at the 100 yd Barnes Range. No tools or experience is necessary. We build the frames on an assembly line. Each person performs one or two simple tasks. Its a lot of fun and we are helping to raise money for our Juniors team.

I hope to see you there.

Thank you,
Rob

Help Needed This Weekend!

We have TWO CLUB EVENTS THIS WEEKEND! We need your help for Saturday for our annual Libby Match on Saturday and come out for some fun on Sunday for our steel plate and plastic toy reactive target pistol shoot from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, June 8th – This is an Arlington Rifle and Pistol Club Sponsored small bore match at the Barnes Multi-purpose 100 yard range. We need as many volunteers as we can get to help with the match. No experience is necessary. There will be inside and outside volunteer positions. Donuts and coffee will be provided in the morning and pizza for lunch. The match will begin at 9:00 a.m. This is normally an all day event. We don’t expect it to be as large or take as long as previous years, due to the ammo shortage, we won’t have as many teams attending. Please come out and help. Arlington and our Juniors need your support for this.

Sunday, June 9th – Arlington Steel Plate Pistol Shoot from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.! We will have steel plates, plastic toys and paper targets for your shooting pleasure. Come on out and have a great time!

Wednesday, June 12th – Arlington Club Meeting will be held in Memorial Hall from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. We will be talking about our upcoming club events for June and July. The Arlington Swap Meet will be at the back of the room if you have any items to sell, trade or give away. If you have an unusual firearm or item of interest, please bring it to share with the club at our show and tell period. We will also have a question and answer time for anyone who has a firearms related question to ask club members.

Saturday, June 22nd – we will be having a Fundraiser Frame Build from 9:00 – 12:30 a.m. in the basement classroom of the Barnes Range House. No experience or tools are necessary. We have an assembly line production where each person performs one or two simple tasks. It is a lot of fun and helping out our Juniors gives everyone a great feeling.

***Please put the June 8th Libby Match on your calendar. This is an Arlington sponsored event. We need a lot of volunteers. We will have coffee and donuts in the morning and provide lunch to our volunteers.

Thank you!
